Home
Home healthcare
is care that allows a person with special needs stay in their home. It might be
for people who are getting older, are chronically ill, recovering from surgery,
or disabled. Home care services include:
- Personal care, such as help with bathing, washing your hair, or getting dressed
- Homemaking, such as cleaning, yard work, and laundry
- Cooking or delivering meals
- Health care, such as having a home health aide come to your home
You can get almost any type of help you want in your home. -

_______
By caring for children in the home, it encourages family
bonding, supports growth and development, and eliminates many other risks. More
than 13% amount of children in the United States use home health services.
These children have many different diagnoses, severity levels and
complications. Cerebral Palsy, failure to thrive, developmental delay and
preterm birth are the four most common diagnosis that account for approximately
15% of the pediatric home care population. - childrenshha.com
_______
Urgent care is a category of walk-in clinic focused on the
delivery of ambulatory care in a dedicated medical facility outside of a
traditional emergency department (emergency room). Urgent care centers
primarily treat injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, but not serious
enough to require an emergency department (ED) visit. - Wikipedia
_______
Typically, pediatric
urgent care means you bring your child to the walk-in clinic to be seen by
doctors, but sometimes the doctors and nurses can come to your child for home
health reasons. This is a new path for the industry, but not a new concept.
This age-old practice is called doctor “house calls” and it can be of
monumental benefit to the patient. – PBM Consulting
